I see MirrorWorld as a digital travel guide to the realm behind the Mirror. In an interview with the author, found here, she says: The MirrorWorld App won a Cannes Silver Lion Award for ‘Best Visual Design/Aesthetic.’ It can take hours for the user to explore all of the different worlds created in one place. Users can immerse themselves in the tales, the magical panoramas, characters and curiosities, or read them as illustrated stories. The app combines cinema, storybook, and interactive elements in 16 different adventures and experiences. Reckless by Cornelia Funke is a compendium of living stories that expand on the fantasy world of best-selling author Cornelia Funke’s Reckless and Fearless novels. Andrew directed the piece “Bad Substitute Father” and was a creative and technical supervisor for the entire project. Mirada Studios teamed up with Cornelia Funke to develop an iPad app to coincide with the release of the latest book in her Reckless series. ![]()
